His devices have a religious magic for their followers. No tears from this corner. He was a capitalist, an exploiter. Everyone who buys one of his project should also be made to read Walter Benjamin's essay on the The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction, about how a product's aura is so bright that it blinds people into quasi-religious admiration.

Anyway, as you can tell, I've been in University for too long...on a happier note - I love autumn, it's my favourite season. I'm a runner and I ran in a 5K race yesterday in Livingston NJ on a course that passed thru tree-lined streets. Race time was 9:30 so it was brisk but not uncomfortably cold and there was just that smell of autumn in the air. Simply great day to run and to spend time outside.Adam Kennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00876476233214402228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4341308729189935273.post-23861549135409024992011-10-24T06:35:45.336-04:002011-10-24T06:35:45.336-04:00dinah: *I'm* not teasing you! Currently, there's a one-man show at The Public Theater in Manhattan called The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs. Someone went to China to observe how Apple products are manufactured and, apparently, it's not pretty.

daisy: All that will take place one week from tonight. Dude was a genius, but he was also a shrewd businessman and in my opinion and awfully greedy little guy. He had all philanthropy nixed from his multi-billion dollar company and also had an illegitimate child he refused to acknowledge or support. That being said I am glad he made the iPod.
+followedElliot MacLeod-Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03101422996950773526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4341308729189935273.post-40564167186562095752011-10-23T20:09:14.204-04:002011-10-23T20:09:14.204-04:00Aw!
