Just the mood I was in, I suppose. Or perhaps it's because I had seen the Monet show already.

kykn: Initially, I thought they were grapes but I think you're right.

Ponita: Yikes! I remember spending time with my dad... like going to the drive-in theatre with him and my two brothers to see Planet of the Apes (the original with Chuck Heston), going to City Park for Ballet in the Park, hanging out with him while he worked on the car (and I learned enough to be able to pull the starter out of a '76 Datsun 510, replace the brushes, put it back in and have it work... with no left over parts!) It's all great time and she'll have many fond memories when she's older, and yes, the appreciation for art will be there. When she sees some of these things again, way down the road, they will twig in her brain and she'll smile. It's all so very worth it! xoxoxoPonita in Real Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06886875733169389887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4341308729189935273.post-83109988631475877652010-06-23T11:29:23.485-04:002010-06-23T11:29:23.485-04:00Oh, I do like that Lichtenstein painting of haemor...Oh, I do like that Lichtenstein painting of haemorrhoids.
