pardon me but, isn’t that an Airbus 320 coming down our street?
Here’s US Airways Flight 1549—the quickest way to the Hudson River—being towed through suburban East Rutherford NJ on its way to...actually I have no idea where it’s going. A new lawn ornament for Captain "Sully" Sullenberger? The tin can factory? You can click on them for a better look.
I’d credit these shots but I don't know who took them. My sister forwarded them to me.

Well, now. That's something you don't see everyday, isn't it?
I forwarded them to your sister, they were taken by one of my clients that lives in NJ. I was also working from home the day this happened and I walked down to the Hudson to watch this miracle first hand (I live only a few blocks away on the NJ side..Hoboken). It was quite a sight to see I must say, different from watching on TV, that's for sure. I remember it being so cold out I could hardly feel my face or hands..
They should have turned this into a parade float and had all the crew and passengers there.
Greg: Thanks, tons! I would have thought that they'd move this thing in the middle of the night.
Jeff: That's funny! Thank god nobody died. Otherwise, we couldn't have all this fun with it.
proving yet again that airlines are simply big ol' thermos tubes with wings!
Amazing. I'm surprised they bothered to fish it out!
