nicolas cage as anything other than a liver-lipped, slack-jawed emo-boy is not credible...

How about Nicolas Cage as an astrophysicist in an operatic adaptation of Das Kapital gets a limb hacked off by a woman giving birth on a Swedish commuter train?

Daisy: He used to have some acting chops. I wonder what happened? (Hint: cha-ching!)

K: ...while whistling Tom Sawyer and the entire flip side of 2112.

There's something about Mr Cage's hair that makes me wannae buy him a big fuck-off pot of Brylcream, and stand there while he puts the lot on.

nick cage...do you need the money THAT badly???

oh well...

reading your blog often i've noticed that you're a theater buff. me and my wife went to check out a production of orwell's 1984 last night at the 59e59 theater (btwn park and madison) last night.

it's a very small minimalist production but it was very very good.(imho anyway) disturbing and powerful. without giving too much away the stage layout especially conveys the feeling of always being watched by big brother.

i believe tix are still at a preview price of $19.84.

worth checking out.if you're interested. just tought i'd mention it

Jimmy: Occasionally, Mr. Cage wears outrageous, Jesus-like wigs. Take a look at this beauty.

DF: He has a Dr. Frankenstein’s monster forehead. Without the jagged scar.

Daisy: He was also good in Adaptation.

Jason: Yea, I’ve had my eye on that production. I didn’t know the tix were only $19.84! 59e59 is a nice venue. They get a lot of stuff from Britain/Ireland.
